Education and beyond:
More women have started working harder to obtain a higher education in order to fight harder to get a higher paying job. Women are just recently adding to the population of people who are choosing to obtain a higher education because the resources have not always been open to females. Females are not as often told that they can't, or shouldn't, continue their education; women are being encouraged to gain as much knowledge as possible. It is important for women to receive a higher education so that they are able to gain experience and to build a resume in order to better compete at the same level as men for a job that pays better than minimum wage. Even with an equivalent level of education to men, women still make less money than men in the same field of work (Kramer 2011).

As you come closer to graduation or a promotion, the more concerned you may become with finding a job or what it takes to be successful in that particular position of interest. Good luck and happy job hunting to men and women alike. Women, do not be deterred by male dominant jobs, you are just as valuable and capable as men! Hard work and perseverance pay off for everyone.
